
A future in which mankind has exhausted the Earthen resources and fought wars over it, which leads to a revolutionary new practice of planet-cracking, where giant capital ships are dispatched throughout the galaxy to break open resource rich planets and harvest them. The setting of the game is far into the future. The Dead Space games are horror games at their core, and center on the protagonist, Isaac Clarke, a space engineer who is on a crew dispatched to fix an ailing spaceship.

I completed all three games in approximately 30 hours.

I played all three games to completion on Normal difficulty and did most of the optional stuff as well. In this review I will be looking at the good, the not-so-good, and whether or not I recommend you and yours play the game. I played all three on the Xbox Series X using the built-in Xbox 360 emulator.

Today I am reviewing the Dead Space trilogy! The series started in 2008 with the release of the first game and was followed by the subsequent two sequels in 20 respectively. I figured I would get back into the swing of reviewing as I work through my backlog of games from the past several years and share some of my experiences as a dad who shares his love of gaming with his kids.
